1. HGV Class 2 Driver / Removal Operative 

If you’ve been searching for full time career opportunities, specifically HGV driver jobs, this could be for you. We’re looking for a reliable and capable HGV Class 2 Driver who’s ready to do more than just drive. This is a hands-on, full-time role that blends professional driving with the varied, physical work of removals — making every day a little different.

Our HGV Class 2 Driver Jobs Requirements

You’ll be at the heart of the action, responsible for getting both the crew and the vehicle to customers’ homes and businesses. Once there, you’ll play a key role in helping pack, lift, carry, and carefully load or unload furniture and belongings. This is a role that requires physical stamina, a can-do attitude, and a real sense of pride in delivering excellent customer service.

As well as handling the vehicle, you’ll also be involved in completing inventories and essential paperwork, so attention to detail is a must. You’ll need to be comfortable working flexible hours, including occasional nights away from home, and for that reason, a valid passport is essential.

When it comes to driving, safety and professionalism are non-negotiable. You’ll carry out daily vehicle checks, ensure every load is secure, and keep your vehicle clean and well-maintained. We’re looking for someone who understands and follows UK and European transport regulations and always puts safety first.

Experience & Qualifications

Ideally, you’ll bring at least a year of HGV driving experience to the table, along with a valid CPC qualification and a current Digi Tacho Card. But most importantly, we want someone who takes pride in their work, represents our company well on the road, and works brilliantly as part of a team.

2. 3.5t Van Driver / Removal Operative 

Our second position is a 3.5t Van Driver. But, we’re not just looking for a driver — we’re looking for a team player who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. You’ll be a key part of our moving crew, helping customers transition smoothly from one location to the next with care, professionalism, and a personal touch.

Not your Average Van Driver Job

This isn’t your average driving role. While you’ll be responsible for transporting the crew and vehicle to each job, your day will also involve working hands-on with packing, lifting, loading, and unloading everything from treasured home possessions to vital business equipment. If you’re someone who enjoys staying active and thrives in a practical, physical environment, this is the role for you.

Our 3.5t Van Driver Job Requirements

You’ll need to be comfortable dismantling and reassembling furniture and be prepared for early starts, occasional late finishes, and nights away when required. A valid passport will be essential for any trips that take you across borders. We also value reliability, good manners, and a professional attitude – especially when dealing directly with our customers during what can often be a stressful time for them.

Of course, being behind the wheel is still a big part of the job. You’ll be trusted to carry out daily checks, ensure your vehicle is secure, clean, and roadworthy, and stick to UK and European driving regulations. You’ll also be responsible for completing important paperwork and making sure every move runs smoothly from start to finish.
