Masons Moving Group is a member of The British Association of Removers (BAR), the most recognised Trade Association for the removals industry in the UK.  The aim of BAR is to uphold all professional standards for the benefit of all its members and their members customers.

Masons Moving Group has been adhering to the BAR Code of Practice for over 30 years. The Code, which has been written up by the BAR in association with the Trading Standards Institute (TSI), covers private domestic removals within the UK.

The BAR Code that we adhere to dictates:

• the standard of service that you will receive
• the quality of materials that are used
• the standard of our vehicles and warehouses
• staff training programmes
• what you should do if things go wrong

and naturally, the Code requires us as BAR members to deal with you in a courteous and sympathetic way at all times.

Masons Moving Group Ltd is a member of the Commercial Moving Group which is an arm of the British Association of Removers (established in 1900). The BAR maintains a strict policy of quality membership amongst its members engaged in domestic, international, office and commercial removals and storage.

The CMG in particular demands a high level of performance from all members offering commercial services and monitors this on a continuous basis. In addition to manual training programmes, management courses, marketing, research and development of packing materials the BAR operates a complaints investigation procedure, arbitration services  and a number of specialist commercial activities of benefit to its members and their customers. The sign of the BAR badge indicates commitment to customer service

Masons Moving Group is part of the Advanced Payment Guarantee Scheme (APG) which means that any advance payments (however they are paid: cash, BACS, cheque etc) for a consumers move, within the UK, is protected by the British Association of Removers and APG scheme. The Advanced Payment Guarantee seeks to ensure that a consumer is protected in the event of a removal company no longer trading.
