Besides helping people move into new homes and offices across the UK and internationally, we also love helping organisations that make a difference in our community. That’s why when the phenomenal Woody’s Lodge kindly asked us to be a part of their newest event, we couldn’t resist!

 

Woody’s Lodge stands by veterans

For those who don’t know, Woody’s Lodge was established in 2017 to help veterans of the armed forces, emergency services and reservists. The incredible people behind the organisation are all about serving those who once served us by providing veterans and their families with vibrant meeting spaces to socialise and meet people from similar backgrounds and help with a range of services around housing, benefits, pensions, NHS referrals, and so much more. It’s a welcoming meeting place for veterans to re-engage with life, family and community and re-adjust to normality after ending active service.

 

A charity ride with charm

Woody’s Lodge has planned an exhilarating adventure from 5 to 10 July, 2022 to get your heart pumping and legs working. The Cardiff to Paris Charity Cycle Ride will see riders cycling from Cardiff through to quaint English and French towns until their final stop in the enchanting city of Paris. 

 

Masons Moving Group joins the journey

While the riders make their way from one city to another, the Masons Moving Group logo will be splashed across each rider’s cycling jersey on the lower left side – in a big, bold design. We will be sharing “jersey real estate” with a few other sponsors, including Pinnacle, Motivation and Learning Trust, Vale Resort and MPCT (Motivational Preparation College for Training). By helping to sponsor the event, we are ensuring Woody’s Lodge continues their magnificent work assisting veterans and their families. 

 

Be a rider, donator or fundraiser 

If you would like to get behind Woody’s Lodge, you can support them on the day by taking part in the 5-day adventure (there are a few spots still available for riders) or you can show your  support from the comfort of your home by helping them reach their fundraising goal of £70k. Places to explore

Those taking part in the Cardiff to Paris Charity Cycle Ride are in for an unforgettable time as they visit a war memorial site, pay their respects to fallen WWII heroes, and journey through picturesque towns like Portsmouth, Le Neubourg and Magnanville until they finally reach Paris. Here, they will celebrate in style with a champions reception, three-course Gala Dinner, certificate and medal ceremony, and so much more while overlooking the mesmerising Eiffel Tower.
